Luna Chapter 2

The sun began to set as the two she-wolves, heads hung low in embarrassment, followed the armor-plated guard. On either side of them canines and felines of all species stared, curious as to who the strange blonde wolf was and what wrong she had done.

After what seemed like an eternity of silence Seraphina swung her neck up in anger, Luna expected her to scream but instead, the hemokinetic spoke in a whisper but the rage in her voice was clear. "I told you not to leave the hut, why didn't you listen to me?" "Well to be honest-" Luna began to reply but was quickly interrupted by Seraphina. "You don't have any tribal markings and nobody will recognize you! They will think you're a spy!" "Seraphina thats ridiculous I'm way too clumsy to be a spy." Luna attempted to continue but was once again interrupted, but this time by the gaurd. "We're here." Luna's auburn ears perked up as she marveled at the structure that stood before her. A magnificent white castle with two large towers in the center, the largest tower displayed a banner with the tribe's symbol. A blue heart with red flames burning on it. A white wall decorated with a gold trim sourounded it, and every few yards a watch tower each occupied by a guard could be seen on the wall. In the center of the wall was an archway with a lowered drawbridge. Each side of the archway a banner was hung, on the right was a silver banner with a large water droplet (representing hydrokinesis) in the center. Below it was a snowflake (representing cryokinesis), a crescent moon (representing menekinesis), and a blood droplet (representing hemokinesis). On the left was a gold banner with a flame in the center (representing pyrokinesis). Below it was a lightning bolt (representing electrokinesis), a sun (representing heliokinesis) and a lava droplet (representing magmakinesis).

Luna's eyes wandered back to the lightning bolt symbol, and she was suddenlystruck, as if by the lightning bolt, with a painful memory. She was a pup in this memory and she was curled up on the floor crying and twitching in extreme pain. A blue glow violently lit up the dark room, Luna remembered the pain that came after that glow. A caracal stood above her, it's eyes were fully white and the blue glow had come from the lightning it was shooting out of it's mouth and directly at the young Luna. She tried to escape the memory but she couldn't, something was trapping her and forcing her to remember. Her younger self shrieked from the electrocution and a commanding voice was heard "Do not fight it, you must release her from her prison, you must bring forth Chandra!" The moment the name was uttered the young Luna's eyes become white like the caracal's.

Luna was finally allowed to escape from her own memory as her eyes shut close, but not from her own control and a familiar voice began to ring in her head. "Don't you remember? That WONDERFUL memory is of the moment where I was created!" Luna quickly recognized the voice as Chandra, her alternate personality. The blonde wolf managed to gain control of her body again and slowly opened her eyes. "Chandra I'm free you can't control me anymore." After Luna's eyes focused she saw a tigress staring down at her, the tigress wore a metallic blue crown with red flames on the top, there were waves engraved on the blue and the crown framed her face perfectly. Around her neck was a matching metallic blue necklace with a red flame carved in the center, the necklace held a golden cape which laid on the tigress's back. Her eyes were a brilliant purple and her pupils gently vibrated as if she couldn't see very well, but what perplexed Luna the most was that where there should have been orange fur there was white fur instead. "Are you alright?" the tigress's voice was soft and as Luna began to stand up she realized she didn't remember falling, she must have blacked out. The moment she got back on all fours the unbearable throbbing of the lacerations on her torso became more noticeable, she hissed in pain and proceeded to sit down. "Y-yes I'm fine, but I'm not very aware of why I've been escorted here." the tigress stared at Luna, and Luna began to wonder if she had heard her reply. The blonde wolf became distracted by a loud, annoyed, groan coming from the left, and she shifted her eyes to identify an irritated Seraphina being clutched at the scruff of her neck by an alternate, female, gaurd. The gaurd's distinct yellow eyes were fixated on Luna's faded-blue ones as she swiftly tossed Seraphina to the ground and pinned her with one paw. Yellow eyes still fixated on Luna, she began to shriek with a slight cockney accent, "When speaking to the Queen ya must address 'er as your majesty.". Luna had suspected the tigress to be of royality but had not though to adress her as so,"I apologize, um, your majesty I'm not very focused at the moment." Luna had felt she needed to apologize. "Apology accepted and you may adress me as Queen Venus." Queen Venus turned towards the yellow-eyed gaurd. "Fiontana, I don't believe any force is necessary in this situation, our two guests don't seem to pose any threat." The yellow-eyed gaurd, Fiontana, grunted and removed her paw from Seraphina's shoulder who sprung up and walked calmly next to Luna.

"Ah, Seraphina I didn't recognize you, as you know my eyesight has never been very great." her attention turned to Luna. "What shall I call you?" "My name is Luna, although I'm beggining to doubt that, last night I managed to escape from the Aquaelum tribe but managed to collide with a boulder and go unconcious. I woke up here, according to Seraphina I was caught on three deep sea fishing hooks, if it weren't for her saving me I would have bled to death.". Queen Venus's expression began to be one of concern as she grasped one of Luna's paws and investigated her scarred paw pads. The Queen rotated Luna's paw towards the gaurd who had escorted the she-wolves to the castle, the gaurd ran into the castle and came back carrying a crystal bowl full of water which he set down in front of the Queen. A confused Luna remained silent while the Queen submerged her auburn paw into the water, almost instantly Luna's paw pads became sourrounded in a golden aura. Her eyes widened in shock, on her largest paw pad the outline of the Solinoctis emblem appeared and on the smallest a unique spiral. The male gaurd's ears perked up at the sight of the spiral. Queen Venus's eyes squinted struggling to make out the marking glowing on the scarred tissue, noticing the Queen's difficulty, Seraphina focused on Luna's paw. "Shes a Solinoctian all right. Luna this soul water has abilities of showing one's true self, the markings wont come back." Seraphina had confirmed what Luna had been hoping for but she was sad to realize the markings will never return. She looked back down at her paw and realized that there was another paw next to her's, and it had the same markings including the spiral. "Masika." It was the gaurd, he had taken his helmet off to reveal how wide his eyes were. "Masika." he repeated, why did Luna find that name so familiar? She knew that she heard that name before, a dream? Was it someone she used to know? But both were wrong "My name... OH MY GOODNESS THATS MY NAME. My name isn't Luna at all, its Masika... the Aquaelums' must have tricked me into believing it was. And the gaurd, how does he know my name? He's my brother.... Katon.". Everyone present was beggining to worry Luna possibly blacked out again, when really she was deep in thought. Several moments went by until Luna's eyes jolted upwards and she yelled loudly causing everyone to jump. "KATON! I thought I would never see you again, and I can't believe I had forgotten my OWN NAME! It isn't Luna its MASIKA! But I think I will stay with the name Luna, It just feels right." Katon embraced his sister and replied, "Alright... Luna. You've been gone for sixteen years, we all thought you had been killed... we should go see Mom, Dad, and Moab." Luna felt all her wishes had come true, she had found her brother and she was about to go see her other brother, Moab, and her parents. It had been sixteen years and she couldn't wait any longer. "YES, PLEASE TAKE ME TO THEM!" she thrusted her front paws forward, then her back paws, but nothing happened. It was as if her back paws didn't exist. She turned to see what was wrong with her legs but instead of her legs saw a blue fin. She had changed to her water form again, her torso felt warm and sticky due to the bandages being ripped by her back fin and the gashes bleeding. "A little help Seraphina?" Luna pleaded. Seraphina rolled her eyes then lifted one paw, removing Luna's slimecoat therfore causing her to change back the normal. The bandages fell to the floor and Seraphina grabbed them, preparing to rebandage the injured wolf, but Katon stopped her. His paw was glowing blue and he placed it over Luna's wounds which immediately began to scab over, stopping the blood from flowing out. Both she-wolves looked at Katon in confusion until he answered their non-spoken question "Vitakinesis, its a healing kinesis." Both muttered "Ohhhh" in unison. Luna quickly hopped up and grabbed Seraphina by her neck-scruff and began dragging her (Queen Venus and Fiontana had wandered back into the castle by now) "Alright Luna I'll come with you just please let go of my fur.

After a thirty minute walk of silence the three wolves had reached the hut, Luna was about to reunite with her parents. Slowly she walked into the hut, an auburn canine with black sock-markings and black tipped ears and tail was laying against the wall next to a tiny paw marking. Luna's heart felt like her heart was going to explode from joy and nervousness. At second glance Luna realized that the canine didn't seem pure wolf, her ears were quite large, she had a fluffy tail, and her legs were rather long and thin. But she had the face of a wolf, possibly a hybrid. Luna stood frozen in place and found the courage to finally speak "H-Hello, m-mother.". The auburn canine shifted and her eyes opened to reveal beautiful emeralds, she turned to face Luna and her eyes grew wide and her jaw dropped. She stood up and walked towards Luna, and just stared at her, in too much shock to speak. "Hello mother." Luna repeated. The auburn canine spoke in the nearly forgotten soft tone that only a mother could, "Masika... I thought I had lost you forever. My daughter is home, after sixteen years my beloved daughter is home." Luna's mother, Topaz, embraced her daughter and sobbed with joy, Luna began to cry as well. She had dreamed of the day she would be reunited with her mother. Seraphina and Katon walked in teary-eyed, they must have heard the reunion. "NAHUATL, MOAB COME IN HERE HURRY!" Topaz wanted her family to all reunite, two male wolves ran in obviously worried by the scream of Topaz. Nahuatl, Luna's Father, was a large brown wolf and Moab, Luna's other brother, was somewhat smaller with black tipped ears, a white tipped tail, and a white paw. Both had blue eyes. Nahuatl spoke "Honey what is it why di-" he became overcome with shock when he recognized his daughter, "Dad whats wrong? Oh my goodness..." Moab froze in place. Soon they had run over to form one large group hug, Seraphina included.
